Match Report - 03 Dec 2013, Baldock Crusaders Netball Club Baldock Crusaders Braves drew with Team MPS
Baldock Blues were forced to start the first quarter with only 6 players but despite this made a very good start to the game. Following the last minute heroic arrival of Rachel the team fought back and thanks to some fantastic shooting from Jess and Kate the scores began to level out.Sadly time ran out and the first quarter ended with MPS winning 9-7. Baldock now back in position came out fighting in the second quarter, both attack and defence were out in force and we stormed the second quarter 13-6. MPS shuffled their team for the third and fourth quarters. Baldock worked hard in defence and the team showed some lovely game play and shooting but unfortunately despite leading in both quarters MPS were able to claw the score line back by the final whistle and end the third quarter 9-9 and the final quarter 6-6. All in all a really good game and a very special thank you to the support from the sideline, our 7th team mate Rachel who stepped in last minute and a fabulous scorer and umpire!
