Match Report - 18 Dec 2013, Baldock Crusaders Netball Club Baldock Crusaders Braves drew with Ivel Phoenix
With the worst weather conditions we had experienced this season, we knew it was going to be a tough game from the start. Heavy rain and wind meant we really had to focus on our play as the ball would go the opposite way we wanted it to! Bearing this in mind we got straight into the first quarter and gained the lead winning 4-2. The second quarter was very close but we managed to get one ahead and won 6-5. By the third quarter we were all extremely cold and wet, which meant we lost our concentration a bit allowing our opposition gain a lead and win 6-1. We picked ourselves up in the last quarter with the score being quite close, but again our opposition gained the lead and won 6-3.
Overall a draw for our last game of 2013, thanks to all players, umpire and scorer for enduring the weather! Looking forward to starting league matches in the new year.
