Match Report - 22 Jan 2014, Baldock Crusaders Netball Club Baldock Crusaders Braves lost to Ivel
We had 10 players for our first league game of the year, meaning we had several options for positions, which is a rarity for us!
We started off the first quarter working really well as a team with some nice centre court work allowing the ball to be worked down the court to our shooters, despite this ivel kept the lead finishing this quarter 11-6 to them. The second quarter was very similar and we continued our hard work with both teams scoring 5 goals meaning we ended the quarter 16-11. Our opposition came out strong for the third quarter, gaining a bigger lead with the score 24-16.
In the last quarter our heads dropped and this definitely affected the way we played, allowing our opposition to gain a really strong lead which we struggled to keep up with, meaning we lost with an overall score of 36-19.
