Match Report - 29 Jan 2014, Baldock Crusaders Netball Club Baldock Crusaders Braves beat Priory Fusion
We started off the first quarter quite slow and the score was very close throughout, we definitely used this first quarter to find our feet but managed to pull ahead of our opposition with the score 8-7.
For the second quarter we really stepped up our game, gaining many interceptions and working the ball up the court very smoothly, it opened up several opportunities for Rachel S to feed the ball into Alana and Jess to score, which paid off by gaining 14 goals finishing with the score 22-11.
In the third quarter, our defence worked tirelessly to regain possession with Emma and Claire intercepting centre court passes and Kate and Rachel marking the shooters very tightly which meant our opposition only managed to score 1 goal, allowing us to work the ball back up the court and gaining 8 more goals, leaving the score 30-12.
Our hard work continued on in the last quarter, with our defence working hard with Karen in centre court to allow us to score another 8 goals to the oppositions 2, finishing the game 38-14.
Overall a brilliant game, this is definitely one of the best games we've played so far this season, we really showed how well we can play and work as a team, looking forward to more games like this in the future!
