Won overall!
During the first quarter some excellent feeds into the attacking D from Syd coupled with some great shooting from Emma and Emily gave us the upper hand from the start.
Spurred on by our success in the first quarter, our centre court players, consisting of Emma, Syd and Charlie, worked tirelessly to move the ball up the court to our shooters, who continued to produce fantastic shots.
In the third quarter good interceptions came from Abi and Syd, who worked well with the attacking players to work the ball up the court. Combined with excellent defending in the D, this meant that Cobras struggled to get a goal past us and we maintained our strong lead.
Kate and Amy showed great teamwork in the defending D throughout the final quarter, preventing Cobras from scoring even one goal and securing a win for Baldock.
We played an excellent game which was reflected in the score – well done!
