Match Report - 25 Feb 2013, Baldock Crusaders Netball Club Baldock Crusaders Blaze beat Quip
Another freezing cold game for the girls to come out to.
First quarter The Crusaders came out with vigour as they had warmed up well. They quickly dominated the quarter with the ball going nicely through the court from Caroline at Centre, Jenna at GA, Jess at WA and Julia at Shooter.
We established a good link of overheads that worked smoothly to Julia.
This continued through out the game. As the lead stretched on Julia and Jenna set themselves some new targets of wrking the ball around the circle. This improved as the second quarter went on and Julia started to really own the circle.
Player of the match goes to our GD, who was so strong and read the game very well.
Becky also managed to own the GS, taking a very experienced player out of the team.
The third quarter saw some changes , Jess in to C and Caroline to WA. This proved a little difficult as the game descended into chaos.
The 4th quarter saw mistakes from both sides as the cold really set in and the lead was almost 30. There was relief all round when the final whistle was blown.
