Match Report - 06 Nov 2013, Baldock Crusaders Netball Club Baldock Crusaders Spirit beat Ivel Phoenix
On a freezing cold Wednesday night Whites put their dresses on to play Ivel Phoenix in a cup game. After a strong lead of 5-0 with some fantastic shots from Caroline Reid, Ivel pulled back to 7-4 but with some brilliant passes into the circle from Shelly Pye we finished the quarter 10-6.
2nd quarter, yet again incredible shooting from Georgina Knighton and Caroline, thanks to Jen Cross getting some interceptions to get more balls into the circle to create those shots, we ended the quarter 10-4.
3rd quarter, Ivel came out trying their hardest to win and mid-way the scores were level, however with some stunning interceptions from Betsy Robinson meaning the ball was largely in the Whites shooting circle, we managed to win the quarter 10-6.
Final quarter and Whites were determined to finish with a bang. Thanks to some awesome defending from Vicky Foster and Hannah Young, Whites easily won the game with a promising 12-1 finish for quarter number 4.
