Match Report - 22 Jan 2014, Baldock Crusaders Netball Club Baldock Crusaders Blaze lost to Grangers Blaze

This game saw us with yet another new combination, but after a good performance against the same team as last week we were raring to go and hopeful to take at least two quarters. Unfortunately, the game did not pan out quite so well. We lost the first quarter by a large margin as their shooters were spot on and our defence found it difficult to make an impact against the quick ball and accurate shooting. We did not really help ourselves in attack either as we threw away a few balls under tight defence. This told the story for the second and third quarter. However, we made a much more positive end to the game – only losing the fourth quarter by 4 goals. This may have been a different story if we had converted a couple of missed opportunities in the last 5 minutes (sorry girls)!!!!
A rather disappointing game for all involved, but we are going to learn from our mistakes and move on positively with a game in Ware on Saturday! One, two, three, Crusaders!
