Well I am still in disbelief at this amazing victory on Wednesday night, made extra special by it being our captains birthday!!
This wasn't even our strongest performance but we are starting to play with a confidence and strength that we never possessed in previous seasons, we have new belief!
The defence of Sharpn and Bridget supported by Jane was outstanding. Julia and jenna shooting owned their circle.
Daisy and Caroline took some hard hits but held their own.
This was a fantastic result.
I can't describe the dedication that these ladies give to our netball club, to make our team so special and ensure it continues to progress. They continuously shuffle work, kids, social lives, coaching, and many other commitments. Julia, Jenna, Jess and sometimes me, work really hard to ensure that things run smoothly. Stars of the week goes to Julia for playing on her birthday and organising team down to match day, and to Sharon for absolutely smashing it - and coming out despite having such a young baby.
