Match Report - 09 Nov 2009, Baldock Crusaders Netball Club Baldock Crusaders Spirit beat Bluebelles
tonight we played Bluebelles, the whites started off slowly but within minutes took control of their game and played it their way. Straight from the start the shooting from both Emma Kingham and Caroline Reid was spot on with great passes around and through the circle by Claire Arnold and Christie Hurley, they began to take the lead.
Down at the other end the defence around the goal circle by both Emma Slattery and Amy Heys was consistant and strong and in the goal circle Becky Wheeler and Vicky Foster were really put to the test by some fantastic shooting by the opposition, but worked out their play brilliantly and didn't make it easy for them at all.
In the centre court every player performed the exact way we had been trained and really put to use all the advise given by the reds, everyone held there space and we saw some amazing interceptions by Claire Arnold, Caroline Reid and Christie Hurley.
A well deserved first win of the season, an amazing 56-41 and player of the match to goal shooter Emma Kingham.
