Match Report - 18 Nov 2009, Baldock Crusaders Netball Club Baldock Crusaders Spirit lost to Five Bells


On thursday night Baldock Whites played Five Bells. The team have a reputation for being the best so this meant Baldock had to go out their and play their best!

It was a very windy match the whole way through and right from the start Five Bells took control of their game and Baldock quickly realised they were going to have to up theirs to keep up.

Vicky Foster and Becky Wheeler worked amazingly in Five Bells goal circle and tried their absolute best to defend some amazing shots and some very accurate passing around the circle.
Centre court, Amy Heyes, Claire Anderson and Christie Hurley worked really well in bringing the ball up to their goal circle and really used the space around them and worked out their play brilliantly, and despite the wind

Caroline Reid and Emma Kingham managed to get a handful of shots in on each quarter.

It was a cup game and the final scores were 14-3, 18-4, 14-2 and 14-6 to Five Bells. Although it was a defeat each goal scored was well deserved by Baldock Whites and player of the match went to Caroline Reid.
