Match Report - 24 Nov 2009, Baldock Crusaders Netball Club Baldock Crusaders Spirit beat Sandy Tigers
On Tuesday evening, Baldock Whites played Sandy Tigers in a league match.
Once again a very windy game but straight away Baldock took the lead and
played their own game very well. We had a few players out of position and
this did reflect in holding our own spaces but did not affect the amazing
defending by Amy Heys and Vicky Foster and shooting by Caroline Reid and
Christie Hurley.
Amy and Vicky managed some great interceptions and rebounds in Sandy Tigers goal circle and Claire Anderson, Emma Slattery and
Sasha Samad worked together really well and brought play back up to our end
so many times for Caroline and Christie too score some amazing goals in
some very tough windy conditions!. In the end, a very well deserved final
score of 23-11 to Baldock Whites and player of the match again to Caroline
Reid!
