Match Report - 30 Nov 2009, Baldock Crusaders Netball Club Baldock Crusaders Spirit lost to Manor Farm Fishing
Baldock Whites played Manor Farm Fishing tonight in a cup game. And despite the weather played excellently from the start and really held there space and played at there pace. Centre court, Claire Arnold, Emma Slattery and Amy Heyes worked there space and were in front for every pass just the way the team like it and Caroline Reid worked in and around the goal circle and scored some amazing shots as did goal shooter Christie Hurley although the Manor Farms defenders were terrific at marking them both and made them work really hard for every well deserved goal! Down the other end, Vicky Foster and Claire Anderson again gave it 110% and did not make any goal scored easy and managed to gain some rebounds and also some excellent interceptions!
Not a win but still terrific effort and for a third week in a row! Player of the match to Caroline Reid! Final scores, 10-11, 10-10, 6-12, 5-18, well done girls it's a great achievement against a team who have played together 20 years this season!!
