Match Report - 25 Jan 2010, Baldock Crusaders Netball Club Baldock Crusaders Braves beat Fallowfield
Baldock crusaders blues played Fallowfield at home on monday 25th jan.
The first quarter was a great start to a victorious game with brilliant
defending by Goal Keeper Sarah Court and interceptions by Goal Defence Hannah
Young, leaving Fallowfield to only score 1 goal to the Blues 15.
Some excellent work from the centre passes down to the shooting circle, done by player of the match, Centre Celia Dann and Wing Attack Gemma Hennessey making the job easier for the shooters. With Goal Attack Emily Wards quick movement and retrieval of any rebounds, and Goal Shooter Georgina Knightons amazing long distance shots, Baldock Blues pulled even further away from the opposition who again scored minimal goals compared to the home team.
With help in the centre from Wing Defence Georgina Headland, who made sure her
player could not move the ball down to the fallowfield shooting circle, Daniella Distazio as Wing Attack made some vital passes to move the ball into the circle, again giving the shooters the perfect opportunity to secure the lead for the team.
In the final quarter, Blues continued to give their opponents a thrashing.
Fallowfield clearly met their match in this game, as when the final whistle went Baldock Blues secured an easy win of 43 to Fallowfields 16.
