Match Report - 20 Sep 2010, Baldock Crusaders Netball Club Baldock Crusaders Blaze beat Cranfield Tigers
The first two quarters do not reflect the score line. It started off a hard fought game with the Crusaders attack taking a while to find their feet. The defence dug in hard and Jane and Becky kept the Cranfield Tigers at bay with Becky showing off some silky new defence skills straight from training!
The girls started to find a bit more rhythem as the game went on. Caroline came on in the third quarter at WA and Jenna found her form with some fantastic drives to the top of the cirlce. She was backed up fantastically by Lesa who found great positions and finished with great shooting.
As usual Nat was a great support in attack and defence and both Kelly and Jess M made WD their own - Kelly maintaining pressure and Jess M confidently directing the defence.
In the end the Crusaders finished the game off well beating a young Cranfield side convincingly.
Still plenty for us all to work on in the coming training sessions but a satisfying win :)
