Well considering we were all feeling the effects of overeating at xmas we put up a pretty good fight!!!! It was Emma S first game back and she was raring to get back on the court after 8 weeks of not playing!!!!
The first quarter Baldock defended well and the score does not reflect how well we done in keeping the ball in our possession.
We came back in the second quarter and took the lead with some great defending by both Jess F and Jess C who rattled the opposing shooters. (Great work girls)
However in the third Jess C was shoved out of the way causing her to come off injured and Emma S to come on as GD. However not being very tall she tried to defend and did manage to intercept a couple and Jess F did a great job of defending and making up for Emma’s lack of height!!!!!
In the fourth quarter we saw some brilliant interceptions and fighting for possession from Chelsea however their defenders were quick on the rebounds.
However well done girls first game in four weeks and everyone played well!!!!!!!
