Match Report - 26 Sep 2011, Baldock Crusaders Netball Club Baldock Crusaders Blaze lost to Cranfield Comets
The score line does not reflect the game. This was a real disappointment for the Reds as throughout the match we were only one or two goals behind.
We were sparse on defense so I had to step in at GD but with the help of Jo and Jane, my job was made much easier! We really held our own whilst the shooters insisted on constant pop passes in the circle. It all got a bit confusing and at times they confused themselves.
Tonight we saw our new 'signing' Harriet in at WA. She has joined us as she has moved from Devon. Welcome Harriet. She had a great game with some lovely drives, supplying the shooters with some really good balls.
It was also great to see Nat at Centre after her operation. Lovely to have you back!
Jenna returned after she has been out with a bad foot and its fab to have her back too.
So as you can see, it was a real mix up for the team.
It will take a little while for the team to gel but we will get there (when everyone attends training)
Next time we play them WE WILL BEAT THEM!!!
