Match Report - 09 Jan 2012, Baldock Crusaders Netball Club Baldock Crusaders Braves lost to Bluebells
Lost 1-3
We knew this was going to be a tough game but were ready to run off any Christmas excesses! We started well as did the opposition but they seemed to find their rhythm a bit quicker than us and took the first quarter. Blues settled into the match with the defensive pairing of Jess C and Jess F coming together and making some good interceptions and the ball flowing up the court to the shooters a lot better meaning that both teams were evenly matched.
We lost 2 more quarters by only a goal or 2 which was frustrating for us as it could have gone either way and finally it did in the last quarter with us stepping up our game and showing real determination.
Overall a good game and a narrow defeat, but unfortunately ended our winning streak in the cup (hopefully just a slight blip)!
