This week Blacks were faced with rain, cold and good opposition, but it didn’t dampen our spirits and we went in hopeful.
During the first quarter we realised just how slippery it was with a lot of footwork occurring throughout the court, leading to balls being given away and fewer goals scored.
Although Holly, Amy and Charli worked well together to defend in the second quarter, we couldn’t keep up with the number of goals Priory were scoring and ended with a loss.
In the third quarter several great shots came from Emma and guest player Emily, however we couldn’t maintain this lead.
Despite a great show of defending from Abi (who played WD for the first time!) and Kate, the final quarter ended in another loss for Baldock as we struggled to get the ball up the court.
A good game overall despite the score – well done girls!
