Match Report - 25 Nov 2013, Baldock Crusaders Netball Club Baldock Crusaders Spirit drew with Ivel
This was a very close game from the start with both teams equally matched. Ivel won the first quarter with the score at 8 - 5 with some very good defending from the GD.
The second quarter Baldock came out the stronger side with some good strong centre passes going into the circle and good shooting from both the GA and GS. Baldock won that quarter 8 -6.
The third quarter was very tight with both teams fighting to take the lead. A few position changes made by both teams which worked well for them both and some very strong defending by Ivel who managed to get the leading goal at the last few seconds to take them into the lead for this at 8 - 7.
With the last quarter to go both teams were strong from the start with both wanting to win this last quarter. Some very strong play from both sides however Baldock pushed through to win this quarter - Baldock 10 Ivel 8
An overall draw for the game with some very good controlled netball flowing up and down the court from both teams.
