Match Report - 16 Oct 2013, Baldock Crusaders Netball Club Baldock Crusaders Braves drew with Shillington Shadows
As our first match of winter league, it took us a while to get into the swing of playing again after a few weeks off since summer league had finished.
In the first quarter we were finding our feet, and the opposition took the lead and won this quarter 9-5. The second quarter had a similar outcome with the score of 10-7.
After losing two quarters we definitely worked a lot harder and were gaining confidence throughout the third quarter, managing to get ahead of the opposition and winning 8-6.
In the last quarter we worked together really well and showed how well we can play, with excellent defence from Kate and Rachel G it enabled our centre court to work the ball up to Jess F and Rachel S to score the goals, finishing by double our opponents score of 12-6, Meaning a draw 2-2 overall.
A great game to start the season!
