Baldock Crusaders Black lose first Cup game away to Shefford Ladies

Q4: 2-1
Shefford Ladies took first centre and were able to secure their first point. Baldock quickly reciprocated. The game was quite closely fought, however, Shefford were able to turnover ball better than Baldock, in order to secure the win.
The Baldock team played well and there were some real highlights in play at both the attack and defence ends with a particularly spectacular interception from Jade Poole during a Shefford Penalty. Hannah Revels also played well as a shooter, stepping away from her usual position to fill in while we have a shooter injured and two on honeymoon.
Although the game was a loss, Baldock played with great spirit and energy and have been able to take away some clear areas to improve on. Hopefully with more play together and some training, we will start to see a result that reflects the effort put in by the team!
