Baldock Blacks vs Hawks 06/02/2019 (rearranged from 22nd Jan due to snow)
With the snow postponing the game against Hawks earlier in January. This rearranged game took place the night after the tightly fought game against Pandas. With many of the team doing a quick wash of their kit to come back out the next night to play Hawks, this was a fantastic game for Blacks showcasing our dominance in all areas of the court. With the shooters, Sophie, Lauren and Francesca combining to reach 50 goals and the defence only conceding 6 goals through excellent defensive play from Immy and Lucy, this is a much improved Blacks side that continues its winning streak in the league. Everyone played fantastically and fought for every ball and goal. Despite the heavy defeat, Hawks were enthusiastic throughout and were a lovely team to play against. A well-deserved rest for Blacks is now due, and we will come back later in February to continue our unbeaten status in the League. Well done team!
